Camp To Belong (CTB) invites viewers to embark on a remarkable journey as counselor Tammy Gerber and her loved ones discuss their forever family on CBS A Home for the Holidays on Dec. 18. The holiday segment, which will be hosted by five-time Grammy Award winner Celine Dion, will also feature an array of musical performers. Audiences should check local listings in their area.
“We are thrilled that CBS’ A Home for the Holidays will feature Tammy and her beautiful family,” said Sherry Brock, executive director of Camp To Belong. Their story is inspirational and is a true testament to the type of people that work with Camp To Belong.”
Gerber volunteered at Camp To Belong in 2009, a non-profit organization that reunites siblings separated via the foster care system. She met three children who were attending the camp in Nevada. Gerber formed a powerful bond with the three siblings and after just one week she and her husband, Jason, decided to expand their family. Tammy credits Camp To Belong for changing her life in a powerful way.
The pair became foster parents to the three children immediately after camp ended and officially adopted them in 2013. Tune in Wednesday evening and watch as the family of five shares their personal account on CBS.
