Our Mission

To provide Colorado youth separated by foster and/or adoptive care with shared experiences and memories that deepen their sibling relationships; to inspire them to believe in their capacity to build a successful future; and to empower them to advocate for themselves and their siblings.

About Us

Camp To Belong is an international non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to reuniting siblings placed in separate foster homes and other out of home care for events of fun, emotional empowerment and sibling connection. The main events are summer camps, now held in eleven states and Australia.  Camp To Belong Colorado became a member camp of the Camp To Belong International family in 2013.

Supervised by a host of volunteer counselors, the campers' days are filled with entertaining and meaningful activities giving siblings the opportunity to strengthen relationships while experiencing the storybook adventures summer camp provides.  The outcomes also affect sibling legislation for visitation and placement, recruitment of foster and adoptive families for siblings, resources for campers as they journey out of care and lifelong memories for campers!

Camp To Belong Colorado is thrilled to have found where we belong - the YMCA Camp Santa Maria - and we look forward to another amazing summer camp in 2016!
